Log in, open My NPPA and press Upgrade to Professional. You pay the Professional fee minus the unused part of your Student membership, and get a full year of Professional membership from that day, with the same membership number and a new certificate.
Example: with 6 months left on a ₹500 Student membership, the credit is ₹250, so you pay ₹750.
The same yearly fee whichever way you choose, and the same membership number when you renew.
Pay for up to three years at once: ₹3,000 (Professional) or ₹1,500 (Student) for three years. Renewing early adds the years after your current end date.
Your membership renews itself every year by UPI AutoPay or card, two days before it ends. Razorpay tells you before each charge; switch it off any time.
One payment for a year of membership and your conference place at the member price: ₹3,000 (Professional) or ₹1,700 (Student), only ₹500 / ₹200 more than the non-member ticket alone.
Join with their invite link and get 10% off your first year (they get an extra month). Members find their link in My NPPA and on their certificate page.
Everything in the first two groups is the same for Student and Professional members. The last group is only for Professional members.

No. You keep the same number, get a new Professional certificate by email, and your Professional membership runs for a full year from the day you pay.
One year from activation, or two or three years if you pay for them at once. We remind you by email before it ends, and you can renew from My NPPA; renewing early adds the time to your current end date.
Turn it on from the Renew page in My NPPA and approve it once with UPI AutoPay or a card (Razorpay may take a small amount and refund it). Each year the normal fee is charged two days before your membership ends; Razorpay tells you before each charge. Switch it off at any time on the same page; nothing more is charged.
Yes, if you are not a member right now: log in, open the Renew page and choose “Membership + Conference 2027”. You pay the membership fee plus the member conference price in one payment, and both are confirmed straight away. Current members simply register at the member price.
Online through Razorpay: UPI, cards and net banking in India, or cards in US dollars from other countries. You get a receipt by email.
